WONDER WOMAN 1984 (SPOILERS)

Finally after all this time because of COVID, we get to watch the second Wonder Woman movie. Thanks to the HBO Max app, I get to anyways. Of course I would rather watch this on the big screen and not my home tv, but cause of the current situations with the theaters it is what it is.

I really enjoyed the first Wonder Woman, even though the CGI ending was a little hard to watch. Over all it was a great movie portraying one of the greatest DC Comics characters. I have a lot of thoughts on this long awaited squeal.

BIRDS OF PREY REVIEW

Harley Quinn has always been a favorite character of mine from the DC Universe since she debuted in the cartoon Batman: The Animated Series. I was excited to find out she was going to be brought to the big screen when she was in the Suicide Squad, which is not everyone's favorite movie, but I thought it was okay. With her popular soaring even more after Margo Robbie portrayed her in the Suicide Squad, it was a no brainier to have her star in her own movie. And with the big competition DC has in what Marvel has done with there superhero universe, it also makes sense to expand there's with spin off movies like this one.

SPIDER-MAN INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE EARLY VIEW (NO SPOILERS)

I was lucky enough to get a early viewing of the new Sony animated movie Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse. The movie is coming out 12-14-18. My friend got passes to the early showing through PlayStation. I have been looking forward to seeing this new movie ever since I saw previews for it last year, and the fact that it is based around Miles Morales was a big plus.

TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES REVIEW

First off, no spoilers. Over the weekend I saw the new Teen Titans Go movie that came out on July 27, 2018. If you have been on the fence about see this movie, don't be, this is a must see. It had me laughing from start to finish. All the funny references, from past and current DC and Marvel movies and comics was brilliantly written in to the movie. And you got to love that Nicholas Cage finally got to play Superman, even if it was a voice over roll.

Who Will Win The Day:Marvel Or DC Comics

In the next couple of months there are two huge comic book movies coming out. Captain America: Civil War for Marvel and Batman Vs Superman for DC Comics. The stage is set for hero vs hero. Which movie are fans wanting more? Both have big hype around them, but who will come out on top of the box office?

I can only talk from my point of view, but I am excited for both these movies. As a superhero fan since I was a kid, this is a great time for me. Comic book movies are the new norm. Where as before, they was just looked at as something only for kids. Okay, okay, there kinda still are, but who as a adult now, not love all the superhero movies out from the comics we read as a kid? I am going to talk about both movies and my opinion from what we have seen so far in the trailers.

   Here we go....

In my finale top 5 list of the year, I will be going through my top favorite TV shows. In 2014 there was some great TV on. Between heroes, the dead, bikers, and game shows, my 2014 was very entertaining. Even though we had to say goodbye to some favorite characters whether it was by a death or the end of a show. With this list, there is no particular order. Having said that, here is my top 5.

For those who don't know about the show Arrow, its about the DC Comics character Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow. IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A PLANE, IT'S...HYPERION?

The latest episode of Disney's XD Avengers Assemble aired today.  The seventh episode of the new series is called Hyperion. This was my first experience with Hyperion even though I a  huge Marvel fan. So I was a little shocked at this character and his similarities to his powers and look to two DC Comic characters. He looked like Captain Marvel, cape to one side and same color scheme, with Superman's powers.

The show starts off with the Avengers trying to stop a bunch of meteors from destroying the city. There where all doing pretty well until one huge meteor dubbed a "Earth-Eater" for its size, which would be enough to kill everything on the planet. Hulk and Thor use all of there might to try and break it apart and Iron Man tries to slow it down. Iron Man realizing that they where not going to be able to stop it in time starts saying his goodbyes to his teammates. Just then the whole meteor is blown into tiny cubes. As the Avengers regroup and try to figure out what happen, the see Hyperion standing about some of the cubes. He gives a wave and a wink and flies off.
