DC COMIC'S CARTOON TO BECOME NEW RPG.....YOUNG JUSTICE: LEGACY

Young Justice is a DC Comic's cartoon that airs on cartoon network. And I personally love this cartoon. As I said before, I am more a Marvel guy, but DC has been really good about making shows and comics about sidekicks. Teen Titans, although very different style from Young Justice, was another great sidekick cartoon from DC that does not focus on the big name superheros, and help you get to know more about our heroes of tomorrow. Episode 16 of Young Justice called Failsafe was a awesome episode that was a major trip and had me watching it over and over.

Now Young Justice as I said is about a ground of sidekick superheros. Team is made up of Superboy, Miss Martian, Kid Flash, Artemis, Robin, and Aqualad. Aqualad is the leader of the group. The Young Justice team is like a minor league team for the Justice League. They get sent on, in the teams thoughts, unimportant missions and want to but up with there mentors doing all the big missions. Not realizing that everything they are going through is making them a stronger team and teaching them how to work as a team and that even the smallest missions have meaning. Even though they are given small tasks to do, they always seem to end up in the big fight.
Well they are making a game for Young Justice called Young Justice: Legacy. The game is going to be a RPG that will also be multiplayer. The multiplayer in Young Justice will be for online and offline play. The game is going to be set between seasons 1 and 2 of the cartoon. Developer Little Orbit is currently working hard on Young Justice: Legacy.  The writers of the cartoon Young Justice, Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, are collaborating with Little Orbit on the story. There is a web site for Young Justice: Legacy, and on the site they show 12 empty slots for playable heroes. They also show 12 empty slots for villains that you will be facing.
The CEO of Little Orbit, Matt Scott, made this statement, "The TV series is a fantastic combination of compelling writing, witty humor, iconic art, and exciting action sequences. The creators have done an amazing job blending over 180 DC Comics characters into their show filtered through a new, youthful perspective. The new video game contains a slew of cool features and a large playable cast of familiar heroes, but our core mission is to create a unique experience that fits seamlessly into the world of the show and offers a new way to interact with these popular DC Comics characters." By saying that and working with the writers of the cartoon series, you get high hopes that the game will stay true to the cartoon.
Young Justice: Legacy is set for a 2013 release. Legacy is going to be coming out for the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and DS. I got high hopes that the game will be as good as the cartoon, and look forward to hear more about Young Justice: Legacy as we get closer to the release date. One thing is for certain, I can't wait to play as Robin!
