RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY THOUGHTS

Video game movies never live up to what the game were, everyone knows this. Yet when you see they are doing a movie for a game you loved, you get excited and want it to be as good as the game. You have a great story and characters. Everything is laid out for you to make a awesome movie. And everyone once in a great while you get a good one, the first Silent Hill for example. This movie...is not one of them.

ANNABELLE WILL LEAVE YOU SCARED!

Last night I went to see Annabelle, the origins story of the possessed doll made famous in the movie The Conjuring and was stopped and kept save by Ed and Lorraine Warren.(Link To My Post On The Conjuring). Just like The Conjuring, Annabelle was a scary movie that made you jump. The great thing about both movies, is that they did not need to use gore to be a scary movie. Annabelle is a intense movie, with one of the most scariest scenes I have seen in a long time.

MY VIDEO GAMES OF 2012

Last year I did a list for my video games of 2011, and now with 2012 done and over with, I had to do another list. In 2012 I did not get as many games as I did in the previous year, but still got a pretty good amount. Between there not being to many games that came out that I wanted and the fact that money was really tight last year, I got pretty much what I wanted. If you want to read my 2011 list before this one, here is a link to that post- MY VIDEO GAMES OF 2011

Two of my favorite franchises came out with games last year, Silent Hill: Downpour and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Both game were really good. While Downpour was not your normal Silent Hill game, well at least to me anyways, it was still a really good game. Still had some great scares and a good twist at the end. I did think that monsters where not your typical Silent Hill monsters. But I was told that the monsters in Downpour where suppose to be based on the main characters feelings. That would explain what was called "The Void" in other world.

SILENT HILL REVELATION MOVIE REVIEW

Revelation fallows the events in the first Silent Hill movie. Sharon is freed from the limbo of Silent Hill by her mother Rose who uses a amulet that only allowed one person to escape. Sharon reunited with her father Christopher, now travel around trying to stay under the radar from The Order of Silent Hill. Sharon, who now goes by Heather to disguise her identity, does not remember what happen in Silent Hill. Her father, who now goes by Harry, tells her that she was in a car accident and lost part of her memory and that her mother died saving her in the accident. She thinks they are on the run because Harry killed a man who, unknown to Heather, was sent to kidnap her back to Silent Hill.

FEAR ITSELF, PYRAMID HEAD

Pyramid Head is a character from the Silent Hill series. He has made many appearances in the Silent Hill games. There are many different thoughts on why he is around. Pyramid Head is iconic to the game and is most feared. He has many nicknames, and has had more then one look. Created by Masahiro Ito, who wanted to create "a monster with a hidden face".

SURVIVING THE HORROR THAT IS SILENT HILL DOWNPOUR

Now that I put down my personal thoughts on Silent Hill Downpour, I am going to write about the characters and events that happen in Downpour. Your main character is Murphy Pendleton, a convicted who has lost his 6 year old son. Murphy is being transported to another prison in the opening scene when the bus he is being transferred in veer's over the road and crashes in a lake.

MY TIME SPENT IN SILENT HILL DOWNPOUR

Silent Hill has always been a  great horror game series. I have played all of the games but Silent Hill Origins  that was on the PSP and the new one that just came out for the PS Vita called Silent Hill Book Of Memories. I have loved the series, even though I was not completely into Silent Hill 2, it's still a good game. When I heard that a new Silent Hill was coming out, the wife and I got really excited. Silent Hill has always delivered a great twisted story, monsters that are disturbing and creepy, and a dark, grimy and gory scenery to try to survive in. The game messes with your head and freaks you out. And who doesn't love Pyramid Head?
