This morning I woke up and I put on the T.V. and saw that one of Mel Brooks best movies was on, Young Frankenstein. Well pretty much anything Mel Brooks does is good. Young Frankenstein stars Gene Wilder, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman, Peter Boyle, Madeline Kahn, Kenneth Mars, Gene Hackman. Young Frankenstein is a parody of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.
Gene Wilder plays Dr. Frankenstein. He is ashamed of his grandfather, Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who was the first to create The Creature. Because of this, he goes by the name of Dr. Fronkensteen. When he receives word that he has  inherited his family's estate in Transylvania, he heads out to try and find his true destiny. When he arrives in Transylvania, he is met by his new assistant Igor, the grandson of Dr. Victor Frankenstein's assistant Egor. If you don't laugh when Marty Feldman comes onto the screen as Igor, then you have something wrong with you. You will find yourself laughing through out the whole movie. Peter Boyle plays Frankenstein. He really does not talk through most of the movie yet he plays it great.
If you have never seen this movie, you should go out and see it soon. Young Frankenstein was also called one of the top 50 comedy of all times. And if you are wondering what my title means, then check out the movie and you will understand.
