EPISODE 148: SORRY YOUR'RE FROM UTAH

We had a third with us this week in the form of Patrick’s Cousin, Brian!  As you will see from the episode, he added a lot to the conversation and made this one of the best episodes possibly ever!  Don’t worry, he’s only related to Patrick by law, so they’re nothing alike.

I JOKE of course!  The show wouldn’t be the same without Patrick and his personality!  But I am serious about how good this episode is.  We had so much fun that we didn’t realize we hit the two hour mark!

DC COMIC'S CARTOON TO BECOME NEW RPG.....YOUNG JUSTICE: LEGACY

Young Justice is a DC Comic's cartoon that airs on cartoon network. And I personally love this cartoon. As I said before, I am more a Marvel guy, but DC has been really good about making shows and comics about sidekicks. Teen Titans, although very different style from Young Justice, was another great sidekick cartoon from DC that does not focus on the big name superheros, and help you get to know more about our heroes of tomorrow. Episode 16 of Young Justice called Failsafe was a awesome episode that was a major trip and had me watching it over and over.

STAR TREK GAME WILL BE BEAMING UP TO CONSOLE PLATFORMS SOON

After the big motion picture re-imagined movie of Star Trek came out in 2009, Star Trek has been brought to a whole new generation of Trekkie's. Since it came out there is a whole new buzz about Star Trek.
Now personalty I am more of a Star Wars fan, but still like me some Star Trek too. On February 2, 2010 a Star Trek MMORPG came out called Star Trek Online.Well now there in the mist of making another Star Trek game, titled the same as the movie, that will be a third person shooter for the PlayStation 3, X-Box 360, and PC formats. The bases of the game will be about Kirk and Spock needing to learn how to work together as a team as they try and stop a infamous enemy race from conquering the galaxy. This will be the first time ever in a game where you get to take on the role as either Kirk or Spock. Star Trek the game will be based off J.J. Abram's Star Trek movie so this game is taking place in between the Star Trek 2009 movie and the new Star Trek movie set to come out on May 17, 2013.

DEAD ISLAND, DONE AND DONE!!

So I final beat Dead Island. I got it when it first came out on September 6 and only played it once. I did not realize when I got the game that it was a RPG. I thought it was just like another shooter game that happen to be about zombies. So I was a little shocked when I popped it in and yup, RPG. So like I was saying, I was started the game and played for a couple of hours and turned it off. My wife then took it from my 360 and started playing it on her system. So fast forward two months and I finally start playing it again. So there are five different place of the island, the resort, city, jungle, laboratory, and the prison. I would have to say that the city when it starts to rain and get dark, it is the creepiest of all the locations. There are also different kinds of zombies. You have your basic zombie called Walkers. They are slow, but can still move with some quickness if they need too, they are pretty beat up looking, with bite marks or bones showing etc. Infected are zombies that have just turned.

BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY

I just finished Batman: Arkham City earlier this week, and I have to say that I loved this game. Well, almost loved all of the game. I did not like how it ended. I will not have any spoilers, don't worry. I really liked being in a more open area, compared to Arkham Asylum. Now Arkham Asylum is a awesome game too. I love that game also, but in Arkham City you are in a open area right off the bat. Now when Arham City first started, I was not liking how it was feeling. Don't get me wrong, the fighting system is the same from the first game and is great. When you are surrounded by a bunch of thugs and you need to fight them all off, you really feel like Batman and the way he fights. Also got to love the reach of the grappling hook is awesome. If you are in a jam and need to get out of there fast, that thing will pull you out of danger fast. Now to get back to what I meant by not liking how it was feeling.
