FOUR DAY VACATION

   I just had a four day weekend over this past 4th Of July. Normally I don't do much for the 4th Of July now a days. Since the 4th fell on a Thursday, I decided to take the 5th off for 2 reasons, first of all I found out that Weird Al Yankovic was going to be at the Alameda County Fair that day, and second of all I just wanted a long weekend. But Friday was not my only fun filled day.

   Well all the fun started before day one. After work on Wednesday I was sitting at home watching the A's game. I looked over at my wife and said," Man I want to go bowling." A few calls later and I was at Castro Valley Bowl in the bar waiting for my people to show up. Castro Valley Bowl on Wednesday nights has a deal, $10 to bowl from 9-12. So the rest of the night was filled with music, laughs, and bowling as I enjoyed the night with my wife Crystal and our family Angelo, Nicole, Brain, and Scott.

VELASQUEZ DOMINATES DOS SANTOS AT UFC 155

   Not going by the weird crowd that booed during all the fights, UFC 155 was filled with excitement and something that has not happen in a long time. It was a Pay-Per-View where every single fight on the card was entertaining. The tension built the later the night got for the anticipation of these two great heavyweights to lock horns again. This fight taking place a little over a year from when Cain lost the title to Dos Santos.

UFC 140

Man this was a great PPV. All the fights were really good. But I got to say the best fight was Frank Mir vs Nogeira aka Big Nog. Man watching that fight you would have thought Frank Mir was going to lose cause they were going to stop the fight, cause Big Nog was ground and pounding him. At first Frank looked like he was not defending himself. Then it looked like Big Nog was going to tap out Mir. Next thing you know Mir reverse Big Nog's hold and got Big Nog in a kimura. Right when it looked like Big Nog was going tap, his arm snapped. Man it was bad!!!! I hope Nogeria has a speedy recovery!!!
