DEATH WISH (2018) NO SPOILERS

I just got home from watching the remake to the 1974 film that starred Charles Bronson, Death Wish, which was based off a book by Brian Garfield. In the new 2018 version of the classic movie, Bruce Willis takes on the lead role as Paul Kersey. The city it takes place also changed from New York to Chicago. When I first saw the trailer for Death Wish and saw that Bruce Willis was going to play the lead role, I got excited. The fact that they used a well known actor and not some random Joe Blow, made the idea of a remake more acceptable.

DON JOSE'S MEXICAN RESTAURANT FOOD REVIEW

Don Jose's Mexican Restaurant in Castro Valley, California has some great memories for me when I was in and after I graduated from high school. I use to frequent that place all the time, they had the best salsa. I remember one time a friend and I went there just for some chips and salsa cause they were so good. Back then, that was my spot, I took many dates there. Now a days the food, not as good though.

I had been to Don Jose's in a few years, then went back to be disappointed. The food was not as I remembered, and the salsa tasted like tomato paste. I could not believe that one of my favorite spots had gone down so much in just a few years of me being there. After that experience, I said that I would not return. So I moved on from a place that was a go to for me.

LACK OF CHRISTMAS FEELING

Tis the season to be jolly, or so the song says. This years Christmas feels weird. I have not really felt the "Christmas sprite" yet. As I am writing this, it is Christmas Eve! Not sure what it is, it just does not feel like Christmas. Maybe its the lack of Christmas music that I have heard this year.

I got all my shopping done, mostly online. That could be it also. Not going to the store as much and hearing all the Christmas music. Not seeing all the decorations and hearing people saying,"Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays". That could be a big part of it.

STAR WARS THE LAST JEDI, MY OPINION

Last night I saw the highly anticipated new Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. Giving my opinion and thoughts on the movie. I stayed away from all spoilers from people in person and online. How I was able to do that, still amazes me since I saw it two days after it premiered. All I did hear was, that it was really good. Some even said,"The best Star Wars yet!".

CONCERTS OF 2017

Who doesn't love going to concerts to listen to live music? Seeing your favorite bands playing the songs you blast on the radio or other music device, singing along to words. Rocking out to music that makes you feel good. I still remember my first concert till this day. Well the year of 2017 has been filled with a bunch of concerts, eight to be exacted.

My concert session started in January when I went to see my friend Brian perform with his band, Angel's Of Fear. They played in a local bar called The Golden Bull in Oakland, California. I have gone to support Brian and Angel's Of Fear all the time. It's fun watching local bands, and you never know, you could be watching the next big thing.

DADDY'S HOME 2 REVIEW (NO SPOILERS)

Last night I went to the movies and saw the sequel to 2015's original comedy Daddy's Home, by Will Ferrell  and Mark Wahlberg. This time around they brought in John Lithgow as Will Ferrell's dad, and Mel Gibson as Mark Wahlberg's dad. Right off the bat you can see where both Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's characters get there personalities.
