HAPPY HALLOWEEN

So its October 31st which means its Halloween. I did not go out this year, all the party's I normally go to got canceled. No big deal though, just hanging out at the house playing some Gears Of War 3 online with some friends. Just wanted to say, hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!!!!!

DRAGON AGE II DLC MARK OF THE ASSASSIN

So last night I finally got to playing the DLC for Dragon Age II: Mark Of The Assassin. And I have to say, it was really good. I like were the story took you and how you got to see new part of the world and enemy's. I really like Tallis, Felicia Day's character. Felicia Day is a actress, and is known from the web series The Guild. This DLC was fun and added I would say a good hour to hour an a half of game play. It was a fun challenge and just like the game its self, the scenery looks beautiful. It was great running into character from the game and from the past game. I am  really looking forward to see how else they use Tallis in the future. From the story they have been showing between the DLC and the Dragon Age web series, I think they could make a game just about her. Like a side game, Dragon Age: Tallis. Well sounds good to me anyways. I hope they come out with some more DLC for Dragon Age II soon, and that its as good as Mark Of The Assassin is.

BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY

   I just finished Batman: Arkham City earlier this week, and I have to say that I loved this game. Well, almost loved all of the game. I did not like how it ended. I will not have any spoilers, don't worry. I really liked being in a more open area, compared to Arkham Asylum. Now Arkham Asylum is a awesome game too. I love that game also, but in Arkham City you are in a open area right off the bat. Now when Arham City first started, I was not liking how it was feeling. Don't get me wrong, the fighting system is the same from the first game and is great. When you are surrounded by a bunch of thugs and you need to fight them all off, you really feel like Batman and the way he fights. Also got to love the reach of the grappling hook is awesome. If you are in a jam and need to get out of there fast, that thing will pull you out of danger fast. Now to get back to what I meant by not liking how it was feeling.

I'M A UNCLE!!

   So yesterday(10/25/11) my sister in-law gave birth to my new niece Evie. She was born at 1:08 a.m. and weighted 7lbs 6oz and is 19 1/2 in long. She is beautiful!! It feels weird to know that she will be calling me Uncle Pat. But I will love it. This whole time my sister in-law would call me Uncle Pat when she would talk to me, but it did not really sink in till I held Evie in my arms. It is a great feeling. Congrats to the new mom and dad Nicole and Angelo!! And to my in-laws, congrats on being grandma and grandpa!!!! And to my niece Evie, Uncle Pat and Aunty Crystal will always be here for you, for whatever you need, weather it is to just talk or even to just take a break from your mom and dad. Your Uncle Pat is not perfect, and can be loud at times. But always know that he will alway be there and he LOVES you forever.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2

Ok I must have had a couple hours to kill cause I just saw the dumbest movie ever, Paranormal Activity 2. I did not even want to waste the money to go and see it in the movies, so lucky, or should I say unlucky, for me it is on Netflix now. So me and the wife started to watching it cause we have some friends who want to see the third one that just came out. So I figured hey, why not watch it and we can go tonight and check out the third one, maybe the second one will not be as bad I thought it was going to be. Cause personally I thought they should have just made the first one and leave it at that. So as I thought, it sucked. I fell asleep for a wail, and the story was pretty much the same from the first. They just had more people in this one. Well at least the first one had more going on. But that movie was not good at all, and I tell anyone who was thinking about see Paranormal Activity 2 or 3, I would tell you not to waste your time. Now don't get me wrong, I love scary movies, and no they don't all have to be bloody horror ones. I like suspenseful ones too, but they took to long to built up to the suspense which lead it to be boring. I mean like I said, I fell asleep well it was on. Well if I ever decide to see the third one, it will defiantly be on Netflix.

KNIGHTS OF THE VIDEO GAME TABLE

So I just realized that I have not written about the podcast that I am involved in. Me and two other of my friends have a podcast we do all about video games. We get together and talk about what we been playing and games coming out. We give out news about things going on and about to happen. We do a segment called VS, were we put two different video game characters against each other and talk about there powers and abilities and skills. THE WALKING DEAD

OK SO THE WALKING DEAD IS BACK ON AMC. THEY ARE ON THERE SECOND SEASON. THE FIRST WAS AWESOME AND SO FAR THIS SEASON IS TOO. IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD OF THE WALKING DEAD, ITS A SHOW ON AMC ABOUT ZOMBIES. THEY HAVE NOT SAID HOW THE ZOMBIE OUT BREAK STARTED, LIKE MOST MOVIES OR SHOWS, BUT I DO BELIEVE THEY WILL TELL US AT SOME POINT. ONE THING ABOUT THESE ZOMBIES ARE THAT THEY WILL EAT ANIMALS. THEY HAVE EATEN DOGS, HORSE, AND SOME WILD LIFE SO FAR. YOU ALSO SEE THE ZOMBIES MOVE IN HERDS, WHICH IS A PRETTY COOL THOUGHT OF HOW THEY MIGHT ACT IF THERE REALLY WERE ZOMBIES. OF COURSE THERE ARE CHARACTERS THAT YOU WOULD LOVE TO SEE GET KILLED AND OTHERS THAT YOU DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE ANYTHING HAPPEN TOO. AND I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY SHOW KID ZOMBIES AND THEM GETTING KILLED AND KIDS GETTING ATTACKED. NOW I AM NOT A KID HATER OR ANYTHING, BUT EVERY TIME THEY HAVE ANYTHING WITH ZOMBIES THERE ARE NEVER ANY KIDS IN IT OR THEY DON'T SHOW ANYTHING HAPPEN TO THEM. AND IN THE WALKING DEAD THEY SHOW THEM GETTING ATTACKED OR SHOW THE ZOMBIE KIDS GETTING KILLED. NOW THAT'S A SHOW THAT IS DOING IT RIGHT BY SHOWING WHAT IS REALLY UP!!!! WELL I AM GOING TO KEEP ON WATCHING IT AND I WOULD LIKE TO SAY EVERYONE WHO IS INTO HORROR AND ZOMBIES SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!!

THE THING

SO JUST GOT BACK FROM THE MOVIES, AND I SAW THE THING. THIS MOVIE IS A PREQUEL TO THE ORIGINAL MOVIE, WITH THE SAME TITLE, THE THING DIRECTED BY JOHN CARPENTER STARING KURT RUSSELL. AND I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THAT IT WAS REALLY GOOD. I WILL ADMIT THAT IT GOT ME TO JUMP ONCE. SOME OF THE SPECIAL EFFECTS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. IT SEEMED LIKE A COUPLE OF SCENES WERE NOT DONE WITH THE EFFECTS. BUT IT WAS NOT THAT BIG OF A DEAL AND THE REST OF THE MOVIE LOOKED GREAT. ITS A SCARY THOUGHT TO BE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF A SNOW STORM AND YOU HAVE A CRAZY ALIEN "THING" COMING AFTER YOU AND IT CAN COPY THE PEOPLE IT EATS. AND ITS COOL TO SEE HOW THEY FOUND "THE THING" IN THE FIRST PLACE. IN THE FIRST ONE, IT STARTS OFF WITH A HELICOPTER CHASING AND SHOOTING AT A DOG. SO NOW, YOU CAN SEE WHY THAT IS. I REALLY LIKE THIS MOVIE AND WOULD RECOMMEND YOU GOING TO SEE IT. IF YOU LIKED THE ORIGINAL MOVIE GO AND CHECK IT OUT, YOU WILL LIKE THIS ONE TOO.

UNCHARTED 2

OK SO I KNOW UNCHARTED 2 CAME OUT LIKE OVER A YEAR AGO OR SO BUT I JUST NOW BEAT IT. I PLAYED IT MAY OF 2010 AND ALMOST GOT TO THE END. I WAS PLAYING IT AT MY BOYS HOUSE ON HIS SYSTEM. BUT I JUST BORROWED IT FROM ANOTHER FRIEND AND PLAYED THOUGH IT ON MY SYSTEM. MAN THIS IS A GREAT GAME. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR UNCHARTED 3 TO COME OUT. SO ONCE AGAIN YOU TAKE ON THE ROLE OF DRAKE AND YOU ARE CALLED UPON BY A FRIEND, OR SO YOU THOUGHT, TO DO TAKE ON A ADVENTURE. THE NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU FIND OUT THAT YOUR SO CALLED FRIEND WAS SETTING YOU UP ALL ALONG. AND NOW THE REAL FUN BEGINS. MAN THIS GAME IS JUST AWESOME!!! FROM TRYING TO ESCAPE A DERAILED TRAIN TO TRYING TO OUT RUN A HELICOPTER TRYING TO TAKE YOU OUT WITH A GATLING GUN AND MISSILES TO A TRUCK CHASING YOU DOWN A ALLEY AND YOU HAVE TO TRY AND SHOT OUT THE ENGINE WELL YOU RUN DOWN AND AROUND CORNER TO NOT GET RAN OVER. THERE IS NON STOP ACTION IN THIS GAME AND LEAVES YOU WANTING MORE. SO IF YOU HAVE NOT CHECK OUT THE UNCHARTED GAME, GO AND DO IT. THEY HAVE A DUAL PACK OF THE FIRST TWO GAMES FOR LIKE $40. UNCHARTED 2 IS NOW ONE OF MY TOP 10 GAMES!!!!!

MAN UP

SO LAST NIGHT I WAS WATCHING TV AND SAW A COMMERCIAL FOR A NEW SHOW CALLED MAN UP. I AM JUICED UP TO SEE THIS SHOW CAUSE WELL IF YOU KNOW ME PERSONALLY, YOU HAVE HEARD ME SAY MAN UP A LOT!!! IT LOOKS LIKE THE SHOW IS ABOUT THREE GUYS AND THERE LIVES WITH EACH OTHERS FRIENDSHIP AND THERE LIVES AS MARRIED MEN WITH KIDS. THEY ALSO SHOWED THE GUYS PLAYING VIDEO GAMES WHICH IS A PLUS!!! I AM REALLY HOPPING THAT IT WILL BE A GOOD SHOW AND TO EVERYONE OUT THERE, MAN UP!!!!!

NEXT WEEK BATMAN ARKHAM CITY COMES OUT. ALSO YOU GOT THE NEW ASSASSIN CREED, CALL OF DUTY, STAR WARS, UNCHARTED 3, ETC. ETC. MAN LOL. ALSO GOT SOME DLC TO GET THROUGH!!! MAN I BETTER GET ON IT. YOU GOT TO LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR CAUSE A BUNCH OF GOOD GAMES COME OUT.

MISSING IN ACTION

YEAH I'VE BEEN MISSING IN ACTION LOL. STUFF COMES UP AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? WELL I AM GOING TO TRY AND STAY UP ON THIS. BEEN GOING TO SCHOOL TO BECOME A PHLEBOTOMIST(DRAWING BLOOD) AND HAD SOME FAMILY STUFF GOING ON. HAD A UNCLE DIE AND A FEW WEDDINGS TO GO TO!!! GOT A NEW TRUCK, WELL ITS A 01' BUT STILL NEW TO ME. GEARS OF WAR TATTOO

   I am a big Gears Of War fan, and have loved the Gears Of War series. I have wanted to get a Gears tattoo for a while now but could not think of what exactly know what I wanted to get. Well after I played the last game, Gears Of War 3, I knew what I had to get. My favorite character in the series has always been Dominic Santiago. In co-op mode I always wanted to be second player just so I could play as Dom. Well he sacrificed himself to save the rest of his team. Well when I saw this happen it was clear what Gears tattoo I had to get. This is my second gaming tattoo. Hope you like it, enjoy!
